Soft Scape: a Textile Landscape, Syed Fawad Hussain

It is a curation of specialized Home Textile products in a perceptively organized space. The main idea behind the display is to personify the notions of softness and lightness, which believed to be the cherished qualities of home textile products. Light is primary material that shapes the given space, and it expresses itself through the medium of fabric. This whole scheme of bringing these materials together only reinforces the idea behind these delicate and soft home textile products that textile is always more than its utility. The Fabric used in the product is recycled fabric from their own production waste.
The information panels, hanging from the ceiling, are specially designed for this project. They are backlit fabric tablets with printed information held by black powder coated metal. These sleek objects reinforce the main idea behind the curation of this space i.e. the softness and the lightness.
