منطقه‌ی 22 جدیدترین و اقامت‌پذیرترین منطقه از مناطق 22 گانه شهر تهران، در ناحیه‌ی شمال‌غربی شهر واقع شده است. یکی از بزرگترین مجتمع‌های مسکونی در این منطقه، مجتمع مسکونی چیتگراست، که جزو پرجمعیت‌ترین مجموعه‌های مسکونی در کل تهران نیز محسوب می‌شود. این مجموعه مملو از خانواده‌های جوان از طبقه‌ی متوسط به بالا است که خواهان کیفیت زندگی متفاوتی نسبت به مرکز شلوغ و آلوده شهر تهران بودند.
جهت ایجاد فضایی برای بازی و تعامل کودکان ساکن در مجموعه، ساخت یک زمین بازی در قطعه‌ی زمینی به مساحت 2000 متر‌مربع در قسمتی از شهرک در دستور کار قرار گرفت. سایت پروژه زمین بازی توسط سه برج مسکونی احاطه شده بود که هر یک از آن‌ها از 400 واحد آپارتمان و 30 طبقه تشکیل شده‌اند. هدف نهایی پروژه افزایش تعاملات و روابط اجتماعی بین ساکنان این برج‌ها بود. بدین ترتیب و با چنین هدفی، طراحی آغاز شد.
زمین پروژه شیب قابل ملاحظه‌ای داشت. برای بهینه‌سازی دیدهای ناظر هم از درون سایت به بیرون و هم از بیرون سایت به درون زمین بازی، تصمیم گرفتیم زمین را تراس‌بندی و پله پله کنیم تا دیدهای متنوعی را به کاربر بدهیم. عناصر طراحی شده نقش تعیین کننده‌ای در ایجاد تجربیات حسی و حرکتی برای کودکان دارند. علاوه بر این، سطح قائم تراس‌ها به عنوان ابزار روشنایی در طول شب استفاده می‌شوند. هدف ما ایجاد فضایی منعطف و چند منظوره بود که علاوه بربازی‌های متنوع و فعالیت‌های بدنی جذاب، روحیه مشارکت اجتماعی از طریق بازی‌های گروهی را نیز در بچه‌ها تقویت کند.
هندسه‌ی اولیه‌ی طرح بازتابی از مسیرهای گردش بین ساختمان‌ها است. یکی دیگر از مفاهیم کلیدی در فرآیند طراحی، تقویت مهارت‌های حرکتی کودکانی بود که ممکن است فرصت توسعه چنین مهارت‌هایی را در آپارتمان‌های کوچک نداشته باشند. به منظور ایجاد یک تجربه‌ی حسی و حرکتی با الهام از محیط‌های طبیعی مانند دریا، کوه و جنگل، المان‌هایی طراحی کردیم که علاوه بر عملکرد لوازم بازی، المان نورپردازی در شب پروژه نیز باشد.
اکنون به نظر می‌رسد «زمین بازی جی2» تجربه‌ی جدید حسی و حرکتی با الهام از محیط‌های طبیعی و ایجاد فرصت برای برقراری تعاملات اجتماعی در کودکان مجتمع مسکونی چیتگر ایجاد کرده است. البته، نه تنها کودکان، که فضایی برای تقویت ارتباط بین افراد با زمینه‌های مختلف فرهنگی، جمعیتی و اقتصادی.

The city of Tehran is divided into 22 districts, and District 22 is the most recent development in the northwestern part of the city. Chitgar Residential Complex is one of the largest residential developments in District 22 and also in the entire city. The complex is populated with upper-middle-class young families who wanted to live in Tehran, but desired a different quality of life than the crowded and polluted city center. The playground is surrounded by three residential towers, each consisting of 400 apartment units and standing 30 stories high. This 2000-square-meter piece of land is dedicated to a space that fosters and facilitates social interactions and relationships among the residents.
The land was located in a site with significant variations in height and slope. To optimize the views, we decided to terrace the land, allowing for favorable perspectives both from the outside to the inside of the area and from inside the area, providing views of different parts of the site. The designed elements play a crucial role in creating new sensory and movement experiences for children. Additionally, they are utilized as lighting tools during nighttime. Narvan aimed to create a flexible and multifunctional space that would promote physical activity among children, particularly through group games. G2 Playground is an initiative aimed at fostering a socially sustainable society that promotes various values such as integration, resilience, solidarity, and more. Therefore, we consider G2 Playground as Narvan’s contribution to social justice and the equitable distribution of urban benefits.
The playground provides a space for enhancing communication among individuals from diverse cultural, demographic, and economic backgrounds. Therefore, the initial geometry of the design is a reflection of the circulation paths between the buildings. Another key concept in the design process was to enhance the motor skills of children who may not have the opportunity to develop such skills in small apartments, as supported by academic data. In other words, the main theme of the design was to create a sensory and movement experience inspired by natural environments such as the sea, mountains, and forests.
