ایده طراحی:

آیینه‌ی سیستان، خانه‌ای تاریخی در شمال سیستان و بلوچستان، به عنوان بخشی از میراث فرهنگی این منطقه شناخته می‌شود. این بنا با تاق و قوس‌های سنتی و مصالح خشتی ساخته شده و بیش از صد سال محل سکونت و کار خانوادگی بوده است. معماری آن کاملاً سازگار با اقلیم منطقه است، به‌ویژه با طراحی حیاط‌های متعدد و مهتابی‌هایی که به تهویه طبیعی هوا از طریق بادهای محلی کمک می‌کنند. این خانه روستایی دارای اتاق‌هایی با پلان‌های مستطیلی است که با خشت‌های محلی ساخته شده و ساختار ساده و در عین حال مقاومی دارد.

اهمیت باززنده‌سازی:

در این پروژه، ایده اصلی این بود که با حفظ ساختار اصلی و استفاده از مداخلات حداقلی، به باززنده‌سازی این خانه‌ی قدیمی پرداخته شود. از این رو، تبدیل این خانه به اقامتگاه بوم‌گردی نه تنها به حفظ و نگهداری این میراث معمارانه کمک کرده، بلکه آن را به فضایی زنده و فعال تبدیل نموده است. استفاده از این مکان به عنوان اقامتگاه بوم‌گردی باعث جذب گردشگران داخلی و خارجی شده و ارتباط فرهنگی میان مردمان سیستان و گردشگران را تقویت کرده است.

فرآیند مرمت و نوآوری‌ها:

این خانه به دلیل شرایط آب و هوایی و گذر زمان دچار ویرانی‌های بسیاری شده بود. به‌ویژه بخش‌هایی از سقف و دیوارها به‌کلی از بین رفته بودند. در فرآیند مرمت، تیم مرمت به جای بازسازی کامل این فضاها با مصالح قدیمی، تصمیم گرفتند از متریال‌های جدید اما سازگار با معماری اصلی استفاده کنند. به همین منظور، حفره‌ای که در بخش مرکزی بنا به وجود آمده بود، به عنوان یک فضای ارتباطی جدید به کار گرفته شد. در این بخش، پلکانی برای ارتباط عمودی میان طبقات ایجاد شد که با متریال و رنگی متفاوت از بناهای اصلی ساخته شد تا تفاوت میان الحاقات معاصر و ساختار اصلی مشخص باشد.

کاربری قبلی و جدید:

پیش از تبدیل شدن به اقامتگاه بوم‌گردی، این بنا به عنوان خانه‌ای مسکونی مورد استفاده قرار می‌گرفت و در طول سالیان اخیر متروکه شده بود. با بازسازی و مرمت دقیق، این خانه حالا به یک اقامتگاه بوم‌گردی تبدیل شده است که علاوه بر ارائه خدمات اقامتی به گردشگران، محلی برای آموزش و ترویج فرهنگ بومی سیستان نیز فراهم می‌کند. این مکان حالا به عنوان مکانی برای گردهمایی علاقه‌مندان به فرهنگ و معماری منطقه و همچنین فضایی برای آموزش به ساکنین محلی استفاده می‌شود.

Design Concept:

Ayeneh of Sistan is a historical house located in the northern region of Sistan and Baluchestan, recognized as part of the cultural heritage of the area. This structure is built with traditional arches and domes using mudbrick, and for over a century, it served as a residence and workplace for families. Its architecture is perfectly adapted to the local climate, particularly with the design of multiple courtyards and terraces that facilitate natural ventilation through the region’s winds. The house features rectangular rooms, constructed with local mudbrick materials, exhibiting a simple yet resilient design.

Importance of Revitalization:

The primary concept behind this project was to revitalize the old structure while preserving its original form through minimal intervention. Converting this house into an eco-lodge has not only aided in the preservation of its architectural heritage but also transformed it into a lively, functioning space. Using this site as an eco-lodge has attracted both domestic and international tourists, fostering cultural exchanges between the people of Sistan and the visitors.

Cultural and Architectural Values:

This project is of great architectural significance. The stepped design and the hand-carved nature of the structure effectively reflect the indigenous architectural culture of the region. Additionally, the use of natural materials like mudbrick and wood alongside domed structures gives the house a unique character. From an environmental perspective, the house is well-suited to the local climate. The central courtyards are designed to make the most of the local winds, providing natural ventilation without the need for modern air conditioning systems.

Previous and Current Usage:

Before being transformed into an eco-lodge, this building served as a residential house and had become abandoned in recent years. Following precise restoration and rehabilitation, the house has now become an eco-lodge that not only provides accommodation for tourists but also serves as a venue for promoting and educating about the local culture of Sistan. The space is now a gathering place for those interested in the region’s culture and architecture, as well as a learning center for the local residents.
