his house has been designed for a Isfahani family in Nobonyad district in Sepahanshahr. The concept of the house was named ‘Orchid House’, inspired by belonging to the colors used in the traditional Isfahani Spaces decorated with orchid, purple and green glass. In the design process, the most focus was on the careful use of warm wood and colored glass to create a sense of intimacy in the home atmosphere. In the following, to keep this intimacy viewpoint among family members a vertical connection with void and artificial waterfall from the above floor to the under floor is designed. Open view of the floors, the use of wide openings, and colorful shades in the designing process is caused the better connection with family members and the building. It was also tried that exterior form followed by the concept of interior spaces, defines the floors, entrance and terrace to express the value which exists in Isfahani architecture motif.
The design of moving panels to cover the porches is a good answer to the key points, such as privacy, light and pollution which was done well. Operation of this panels help to develop interior closed spaces when they are closed. Also these panels controlling view, light also the privacy. Light and shades in the interior space could be changed by closing the panels and the movement of sun in different hours of a day, which is a grate aspect for the house.
Finally, Simple but unique designs, such as artificial waterfall are chosen to answer the needs of the house’s residents.
